Winter, Winter, Yes My Dear It Is Here!
Good tidings and blessings to all:
I am going to enjoy winter this year, I am. I live in Chicagoland area in Illinois in the USA and it tends to be bleak house in the winter here where I am but I am determined to enjoy winter this year. The way I look at it is to either enjoy or muddle through, so which one will you do?
So get the snow boots and mittens out, wrap a scarf around your head until you can’t see, put on the shades (yeah baby) and let’s go..
Starting out a new feature for my site with a featured photo of the month, for December I have chosen my photo of beautiful snow laden apple trees titled “Invincible” inspired by French novelist Albert Camus (1913-1960), who was a novelist and a Nobel Prize winner in 1957 for his literature at the age of 44.
Below is the now famous quote by Camus, from “Return to Tipasa”, a lyrical essay contained in the 1954 book “Summer” (L’Ete).
“In the midst of winter, I found there was within me an invincible summer.”
The Invincible print below is being offered in either 8x10 inches or 20.32 x 25.4 cm or 11x14 inches or 27.94 x 35.56 cm sizes and can be ordered in several frames, with or without matting and black and white prints as well.
